Happy International Women's
Day! I look forward to a society where all violence against women are mitigated
or completely eradicated. A society where women have voices to fully
participate in every aspect of development and not being discriminated against
because of their sex, race, religion, tribe, culture, background, etc. Where
every woman has equal opportunity to participate in governance, have the
right to vote or to be voted for. A society where every woman can have a
secured livelihood, economic power and living above poverty.
This society is possible!
Until we unite and work in partnership, not considering, gender, race,
religion, tribe or class, we shall continue to experience these inequalities,
violence, discrimination, poverty against women. Now is the time to work in
synergy and to speak in one voice towards ending every form of
discrimination and violence against women. Happy International Women's Day.
This change is possible, it begins with you. Here is celebrating every woman
out there!
Interesting post and true. Happy women's day to you..., looking forward to more inclusive times.
ReplyDeleteHappy Women's Day. Hope we see the day of such profound equality.
ReplyDeleteWe do share with u every aspect of d above views. All we need is an egalitarian society devoid of mutual suspicion and self agradizement concomitant on age long prejudice against women which is inconsistent with modern day realities. Men folk-wake up!-Twins Oshigbo
