The goal of the Foundation is to foster sustainable development by contributing to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) targeted at access to universal basic education.

The Foundation was borne out of the Oando Group's desire to further contribute to societal development over and above the implementation of community projects directly related to the company's core business operations.
