The MTV
Staying Alive Foundation (SAF) is now calling for first round online grant
applications for December 2013 intake. MTV Staying
Alive Foundation’s (SAF) mission is to help stop the spread of HIV before it
starts. The grant-giving programme is helping us to achieve this goal by
funding youth-led organisations implementing HIV prevention projects in their
local communities.
Criteria:
- A Youth-led organisations that are entirely led by young people under 27 years old?
- Innovative HIV prevention activities that engage and educate young people in a creative way
We offer up
to US$12,000 for a 12 month project, along with much more support and guidance
if you are to be successful. We strongly
encourage you to read our selection criteria before applying, as competition is

MTV SAF’s grant
selection is a two-stage process, where you are required to complete a brief
one-page online application form to determine if your organization suits the
criteria. If you are successful in the first round, you will be invited to
complete a second application form, which will be sent to you via email.

The deadline
for first round applications is Monday,
12th August, 2013 at 12pm GMT. Late
applications will not be accepted. You can only apply once in the first round.
