There Are Some Set Of People The World Will Leave Behind

Have you ever been scared of being left behind? In whatever area and as the case maybe? It can be really worrisome when you have planned to attain certain heights and you find yourself almost like marking time unconsciously. That is, seeing everything moving really fast and beyond the pace you have ever imagined. This is the world we live in today. This is our reality. In the last few weeks, I have been reflecting on how so many things are happening so quickly in every sector. In development, technology, communications, entertainment, business and enterprises, agriculture, social media, etc.  

While reflecting, I realized that with the pace of things, there are indeed, some set of people that the world will leave behind or has left behind or is already leaving behind. This set of
people are people who do not read. In order to keep up with the pace of things, the place of reading cannot be underestimated or compromised. It is commonly said that 'to be the best in your field, you have to spend at least an hour daily, reading something about your field/sector, to improve your knowledge and skills'. This is so true. There are some set of people that the world will leave behind but be wise enough to ensure you are not among those people. Tomorrow is unending for procrastinators. The world has become so busy that there is no time for anything. Do find time to read about things that interest you.
