Are you a young person between the ages of 18 and 25? Are you interested in volunteering? Are you interested in making positive change in communities? Are you interested in cross-cultural learning and opportunities? If your response is in the affirmative, then the VSO ICS  Programme is for you.

International Citizen Service (ICS) is a once-in-a-lifetime volunteering opportunity open to all young persons between the ages of 18 and 25. ICS gives you the chance to work side-by-side with local volunteers to make a meaningful contribution to fighting poverty, and to gain valuable
skills that will stay with you long after the 12-week placement is complete.

ICS is demanding but hugely rewarding – both in its own right and as a stepping stone to future job opportunities and to help you play a part in making your world a better place.

ICS is led by VSO in partnership with a hand-picked group of respected development organisations. They each offer structured support and training to help and guide you – before, during and after your placement.

Anyone between the ages of 18 and 25 is welcome to apply, regardless of background, qualifications, disability and work history. So if you’re up for a challenge, apply for the ICS Programme.

How to apply

Click on this link VSO ICS APPLICATION FORM DOWNLOAD to access and download the application form. After opening the page, click on 'file' menu at the top left corner of the page, to access the drop down menu, click 'download' to download the form as a Microsoft document. Save a copy to enable you complete the form. After completion, submit to the email address on the application form as an attachment.
