Training: Eramus and other partners are calling for the application of youth to participate in a gender training for youth projects. The training
course “Gender Balance on Youth Projects” will take place
on 10-17 March 2015 in Van, Turkey. The idea of the training is to
exchange experiences between youth workers and young people confronted
to the difficulties to find a gender balance in terms of participation in
local or international youth projects, spaces, organisations and
activities, in order to open ways allowing to work on equality at the
level of citizenship and participation.
The aims of the
project are:
- Exchanging good practices about the gender equality on youth projects
- Increasing the visibility of the disadvantaged people within the focus of Gender balance
- Equipping Youth workers for the Gender Mainstreaming topic and leading the activities which has focus on gender mainstreaming
Eligibility
- Youth leaders and youth workers, trainers and educators working with youth (especially with young people with fewer opportunities) from Poland, Macedonia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Italy, Croatia, United Kingdom, Romania and Turkey.
Costs
The accommodation
and food will be covered by organizers. Travel costs of the
participants will be reimbursed according to general rules of
Erasmus+ Programme during the training and up to a maximum amount listed in
attached info pack.
