The Do-School Connection Challenge in Berlin
This 1-Year
Fellowship Program enables aspiring impact entrepreneurs aged 21 to 31 to spend
10 weeks on campus in Berlin to develop their individual business plan and
learn hands-on what it takes to be an entrepreneur by working on a real life
group

During the
following 10 months, Fellows start their own mission-driven venture back in
their home country supported by the do school’s team of coaches and mentors.
Get the skills: The
One-Year Program kicks off with an intensive ten-week learning experience on
campus in Berlin. Faced with a concrete innovation challenge set by a major
organization, 20 Fellows will learn how to apply the DO School Method to
conceive, plan, test, and implement a solution.
Learn from the
best: Renowned experts will share their wide entrepreneurial experience. Our
Fellows have had the chance to hone a variety of skills in challenges set by
H&M, Messe Berlin, the New York Mayor’s Office and in collaboration with
Nobel prize nominees, tech gurus’ and experienced entrepreneurs.
Bring your idea to
life: During the ten weeks on campus, Fellow will already be working on getting
their own venture ready by gaining innovation and entrepreneurial skills. Back
home, they will spend the next ten months bringing their idea to success, benefiting from close mentoring and the DO School’s support and coaching structure.
Eligibility:
- You are between 21 and 31 years old.
- Successful candidates may come from, but are not restricted to the fields of storytelling technique such as writers, bloggers, videographers, journalists but also business analysts, educators, information architects, web and information designers.
- You will still be able to apply regardless of your socioeconomic or educational background and encourage you, no matter if you are a university student or graduate or don’t have a higher education.
- Since the DO School program is conducted in English it is required for you to apply in English and to have a good working knowledge of the language.
Benefits:
Seeds Award: The DO
School Seeds Award is a chance for you to jump-start your venture. A total of
EUR 5,000 are awarded to the three most convincing venture plans after Fellows
have successfully finished the Incubation Phase. The Awardees are chosen by a
jury comprising experts from the social entrepreneurship and start-up field as
well as in an online voting competition.
Cost:
Admission is based
on merit alone with a tuition fee of EUR 1,000. If you cannot cover the program
cost you are eligible to receive financial aid.
